I made a funny!
Yesterday, for the first time ever, I said something funny in spanish. Well, better said, yesterday for the first time ever someone understood my humor. This is a small step for mankind, but a giant step for Eugenia who has had to suffer through endless silence and looks of confusion in the last month.
Also, in case anyone was wondering, I have yet to win the lottery here in Chile even though everyone thinks I´ll somehow bring them luck. (?). I don´t think I got even one number in the last one, and everyone finds my lack of enthusiasm frustrating. Or so I imagine.
On a related note, some poor sucker did actually win the lotto. He was a securtiy guard or something and when they asked his wife if they were gonna buy a new house she said they didn´t have enough for that and that they would just fix their house. Do these people deserve that kind of money? They don´t think big enough for millions. I mean, I´m a big-thinker. That´s all I´m gonna say.
Also, I´m reading Hemingway´s A Moveable Feast and, at first, I was a little bored, but now that I´m about halfway through I´m really starting to grasp its brilliance. Oh Ernie, how you surprise me.
I might move to Paris.

Me gusta tu blog!!, disfruto mucho leyendolo y creo que estamos lejos en distancia...pero tenemos algo en comun en esta etapa de nuestra vida y es esta experiencia que ambas decidimos vivir...Tal vez por razones diferentes...pero tendremos aprendizaje en comun...
Creo que despues de vivir esto, ambas seremos capaces de cualquier cosa en nuestras vidas...

I'm glad you're having fun times down there in Chile, but can I tell you the heart attack I practically had the other day when a news story ran "14 Americans die in Chilean bus accident"?? Seriously, I was scared. Anyway I am sincerely amused, with many actual LOL's whenever I read your blog, but I never thank you for the laughs.. so here I do : ) I sit in the lab and laugh out loud so that people look at me funny.. anyways I should probably end the longest comment EVER so I'll talk to you later!
